Leeds Town Hall Wedding: Leanne & Murtaza

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of chatting to Murtaza Shah - a conversation I remember as one filled with laughter, excitement and joy.

Taz was phoning to tell me that he was in the midst of planning his wedding to Leanne and, having stumbled upon my Instagram page days earlier, wished to know if I was free to capture his and his fiance’s big day at Leeds Town Hall.

Without hesitation I agreed, and in the weeks that followed Taz and I spoke several times more over the phone, with timings and itineraries a regular topic of conversation.

Having booked a half-day package, the shoot itself began at Taz and Leanne’s home, with the arrival of the couple’s Rolls Royce Phantom a key deliverable in the brief.

From the moment the shoot started right through the reception, Taz and Leanne’s day ran like clockwork. Not only did Leeds Town Hall provide a stunning backdrop for a romantic couple shoot, the ceremony room remained bathed in light throughout their intimate service.

Following a short stroll through Park Square, Leeds’ very own MyLahore cooked-up a treat for the wedding breakfast, before guests took to their seats for an awesome display by professional magician, Darren Mac.
