House for and Art Lover Wedding: Sue & Alfie
Whether we’re commissioned to capture photography in the Highlands or video in the Hebrides, shooting in Scotland is always a treat.
In our latest adventure up north, we were booked to capture Sue and Alfie’s big day at Glasgow’s House for an Art Lover - a wedding venue that we’d love to work at again in the future.
Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, House for an Art Lover boasts everything a videographer needs and more - as the video below shows! From luscious green gardens to light airy rooms, framing each shot was a real joy throughout the day, and I particularly like the wide shot of the venue used as the video’s thumbnail image.
Ever since meeting Sue and Alfie on Skype all those months ago, I knew their wedding would be an awesome experience. Not only did the couple prepare their own vows, Alfie’s best friend had the honour of leading the humanitarian ceremony, the audio of which can be heard in the intro of the final edit.
And as if that wasn’t enough, as the couple made their way out for formal shots - captured by the awesome Danny Q - the newlywed’s very own pooch, Carlisle, made a guest appearance (dog lovers see 05:07)!
