Double Award-Winning Wedding Videography
Working across the UK & beyond, Studio Lester produces professionally curated, triple-award winning wedding and elopement films directed by me, Alex Lester. My mission is to create honest wedding films & combination packages that tell your story in a candid, artistic way, using a combination of cinema cameras, audio recorders and drones.
To give each film the attention it deserves, I only take on a set number of bookings each year. In 2024, this number will be capped at 15.
As a wedding filmmaker, I use only the best equipment to deliver narrative-driven films, and believe that organisation is the key to any successful shoot. That’s why I’ll work tirelessly during both the planning and execution phase of any project, ensuring that the final edit not only meets, but surpasses your expectations.
Wedding Films
With drone videography included as standard, my films deliver that extra wow-factor. We’ll also capture audio from the speeches and ceremony to add on top of your film, adding an extra-romantic element to the final edit.
Elopements
As a filmmaker I love filming elopements. Capturing spectacular ceremonies in breath-taking landscapes, I film elopements with pro-grade cameras to create films that my clients can treasure for always.

Hello and thank you for visiting Studio Lester.
My name’s Alex and I’m head honcho of this humble little business, which I run with my wife, Helen. I’ve been filming weddings since 2018 and absolutely love what I do.
Over the past few years my work has allowed me to explore some truly stunning locations across Scotland and the UK, including the Shetland Islands, Skye and multiple venues across my native Yorkshire.
As well as being a professional videographer, I’m also a qualified drone pilot, with full authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority. This allows me to capture stunning aerial footage anywhere in the UK and parts of Europe, using our state-of-the-art drones.
